On Tuesday, at around 11 am, July Unity held a press conference titled ‘Releasing the List of Fascist Loyalists Working in the Secretariat and Administration’ at the National Press Club. At the press conference, it published a list of 44 bureaucrats working in the Secretariat and a list of about 50 officials in the administration.

At the time, they demanded the dismissal of Awami League’s loyalists working in eight secretariats within the current month.

He said that not only in July and August, but also for the past 15 and a half years, the bureaucrats and administration officials of the Secretariat strengthened Sheikh Hasina’s hand, they are still controlling various places including the Secretariat.

At that time, Mohammad Gaziur Rahman, father of Shaheed Muhtasir Rahman Alif, read out the names of the people on the list. The list includes the names of 44 bureaucrats who have been identified as loyalists of the Awami League.

The next step is to publish a list of the acolytes of the dictatorship in various sectors including cultural fascists, academia, medicine, law and media, July Unity said.

At the press conference, July Unity made eight demands to the government. The demands are-

1. All the acolytes of the terrorist party Awami League mentioned in the list should be given compulsory retirement by May 31.

2. An investigation committee should be formed within three government working days and the progress of the work should be shown to the people of the country.

4. The bank accounts and illegal assets of all bureaucrats and administration officials who shot, instructed and cooperated with the students who smuggled the country’s information, including their families, should be seized.

5. Bureaucrats and administration officials who are acolytes of the dictatorship should be banned from leaving the country and legal action should be taken.

6. A white paper of all the acolytes identified so far should be published on the government website by July 36 (August 5).

7. Due to Section 132 of the Act, cases are not filed in the police stations against policemen who commit murder. This section must be repealed or amended by May 31.

8. A list of 626 people who took refuge in the cantonment must be published by May 31. Where are they now and how many of them left the country with whose help?
